Still waiting for Daddy to have surgery.
Apparently their were a lot of traumas' that came into the hospital last night so Dad's surgery has gotten pushed back. We have been told that it should be sometime today.
Dad's getting pretty agitated because they are limiting all his medications (except for the blood thinner) so that he will be ready when they do call him for surgery. They stopped the feeding tube yesterday around 3:30 so without them putting anything in his stomach, Dad is hungry. He is also very, very thirsty but of course he can't have anything to drink. He even wanted to know what was taking them so long to take him to surgery.
All his vitals are stable and he is still on the Bi-Vent machine.

Keeping you all in our prayers. Tell Roy he is not missing much in the way of the hospital food! We could blend up a pizza for his feeding tube after surgery though!
