I know, I know, FINALLY .... right?
Daddy is doing pretty good. He's had some ups & downs since my last post. The surgery to replace the feeding tube went well. However two weeks after the surgery we had to take Daddy to the ER because he started bleeding from around the tube (a lot) and it wouldn't stop. The doctors cauterized the area around the tube and sent him home. So far no more bleeding.
He goes in for another PET Scan in April. Were keeping our fingers crossed that the cancer is gone.
Daddy's pain level has gotten much better since the cyberknife treatments. He's still on a fentanyl patch and usually needs one or two morphine pills a day, but that's better than the patch and morphine every 4 hrs. He is still on the feeding tube but he's finally starting to eat small portions by mouth. Once he can take in enough nourishment by mouth to keep him healthy he can have the feeding tube removed.
Daddy's Birthday was last Friday, March 5th. He's 76 yrs. old! We all went together and got him a laptop and we've ordered high speed internet for him. Once we get all the equipment and service up and running I will post his email address and you all can send him a message. I'm sure he will love to hear from everyone.

Thanks much for you recent post. It is SO appreciated.
The laptop and high speed will most likely bring Roy much pleasure.
As Roy told A.B. when I got a computer and A.B. questioned him as to what they were good for "they are good for everything" .. you can do and learn so much from them." A.B. didliked the thought of them and just shook his head. I think, thanks to Roy I was never questioned about my computer much after that and I am by no means any sort of a whiz at it.
Take care of you gall. You and your hubby look gorgeous on Facebook.
Excuse typp...A.B. did not like the thought of computers let along their possible use.
Mr. Harris's improvement is thrilling news!
