We wish that heaven wasn’t so far away.

If heaven wasn't so far away,
We’d pack up the kids and go for the day;

sit on a cloud and visit for awhile;

  

It'd do us good just to see your smile.

Then tell you we'd be back in a couple of days -

In the rear view mirror we'd all watch you wave.
Yeah, losing you wouldn't be so hard each day,
