Friday 7:43 P.M.

The Doctor came in a little while ago to see Daddy. He removed one of the drains in his chest and then made Daddy get up and walk from his room to the nurses station (Dad's room's across from the nurse's station) and back to bed. He was pretty pleased with how well Daddy did with that. Dad's heart Doctor also came to see him and they are going to adjust his b/p medication to get that down. The chest x-ray showed some shading in the bottom of one lung so he told the nurse that she needed to be suctioning him more often and he said that we needed to encourage him to cough. Hopefully he will feel like getting up and sitting in the chair more tomorrow, which will help with the fluid build up in his lungs.

Will report more later

Glad to hear of Leroy's good progress this soon after surgery! We're keeping the whole family in our prayers and put his name on our church's prayer chain. Tell Leroy that I'll be working at the skeet field on Sunday and will bust some skeet for him! Don't forget, if you need anything, just let me know.
