Daddy has had a pretty rough day today. His oxygen levels have gradually gotten worse today and once they dropped under 80 his Doctor hooked him up to a CPAP machine to increase his oxygen levels and make his lungs expand more. If this doesn't work, then he will be put on a ventilator.
They have called in a critical care team for an assessment.
He is on a nitroglycerin patch for his b/p and it seems to be working pretty good now. As of 12:00 a.m. all his vitals look good and he is resting very peacefully. Now if I can just get Mom to lay down. We've set up a cot with a pad on it here in the waiting room to try and get her to rest.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better (well now it's actually later on today).
Again, the family would like to say a big thank you to everyone for the prayers and support.

Hi Fellow Masons in Roanoke, VA,
My name is Mitchell Watrous. I am a Master Mason, but I have not lived in the Roanoke area since the late 1980’s. Please make sure that LeRoy gets this message.
LeRoy coached me through all three of my Masonic degrees: Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason. He spent many hours with me in preparation for these degrees, and I have not forgotten his devotion and patience to make sure that I learned all the words.
I am one of the very few people who has ever been “raised” as a Master Mason in the Grand Lodge of Virginia. Mr. Harris coached me to make this happen in Roanoke, VA in the Civic Center in February 1988. Maybe it was February 1989, I cannot remember the exact date now, but the important part is that Mr. Harris worked with me to receive this honor that very few Master Masons ever receive.
He may not even remember me now since this was almost 30 years ago, but I surely do remember him. I never heard him say one word that I was his student in Masonry so that he could get compliments. He did not seek to get any credit for the honor that I received in the Grand Lodge of Virginia. I sure hope he was not disappointed in me.
I don’t think that at all. LeRoy is a great guy that did not need to receive recognition for the successes of others that he helped. His accomplishments in Masonry can never be improved upon by the successes of others whom he has helped. All we can do is admire him and thank him for being the great guy he has always been. But, hey, that’s what we Mason do. We help other people.
Thanks, LeRoy. I pray for a swift recovery from your surgery followed by many years of peaceful enjoyment of your life with your family and your accomplishments to help others in all walks of life.
Very sincerely,
Mitchell Watrous
